Dr. Allie Proctor, DVM, PhD

Veterinarian


Dr. Allie Proctor grew up in Clarksville, Tennessee. She received her BS in Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2012. She then moved to Ames, IA to pursue graduate school at Iowa State University. In 2021, she earned her DVM from ISU’s College of Veterinary Medicine.

In 2022, she finished her PhD in Veterinary Microbiology, where she studied gastrointestinal bacteria and its association with health and disease. She and her husband, Charles, live with two dogs, Pip and Driller, one horse, Denny, and several chickens.

In her spare time, Dr. Proctor enjoys riding her horse and brewing beer.
