Homemade Pet Treats

June 26, 2020

Indoor hobbies are on the rise! As times continue to be uncertain, owners and their pets are spending more time indoors than they would any other summer. This begs the question, what do we do with all this time? The answer has turned out to be – WE BAKE! According to The Economist, recent months have seen the sale of flour and other baking ingredients soar sky-high, as have baking-related google searches. As you google new ways to baby your sourdough starter, we must ask, what about your furry friends? Baking isn’t just for humans, after all!

In this blog, we’ve collected resources for you to start baking for your pets. After all, they deserve some delicious goodies too!

Dog Treats

We all love our dogs and want the best for them. When you bake dog treats from scratch, it’s possible to choose the healthiest ingredients and tailor the taste to your pet! However, be aware that these tasty treats won’t stay fresh as long as store bought because they lack additives. We recommend keeping your treats in the fridge or freezer to keep them tasting great for a long time.
